Pot odds basics

Before calling, ask whether the price is worth it.
Pot odds ≈ chips to call ÷ (pot + chips to call). If your equity beats that threshold, the call is +EV long term.
Estimate with whole numbers, then learn outs. Rule of thumb: outs×2 with one card to come, outs×4 with two—quick equity.
